Conduct of the course

The 3113 workshop is an introduction or advanced techniques of intaglio and accompanying
student in achieving his project. Learning takes place through demonstrations and during
many exercises, the trainee will drill step by step the mysteries of the engraving.
The course is divided into two parts:

Part 1

• - explore the various techniques (etching,
  aquatint, sugar aquatint ...
• - testing of metals (zinc or copper):
  exercises bites
• - printing black & white and color on press intaglio
